Medicare and Health Insurance Help in Green Country
Clear, local guidance so you can choose coverage with confidence.

Medicare Plans
Original Medicare is provided by the federal government.
Part A (Hospital Insurance): Helps cover inpatient hospital care, skilled nursing facility care, some home health, and hospice.
Part B (Medical Insurance): Helps cover doctor visits, outpatient care, lab tests, preventive services, and some medical equipment.
You can see any provider that accepts Medicare, but there is no cap on annual out‑of‑pocket costs, and you usually add extra coverage for prescriptions and gaps.
Medicare Advantage (Part C)
Medicare Advantage plans are offered by private insurance companies approved by Medicare.
Combines Part A and Part B, and many plans include Part D prescription drug coverage.
Often offers extra benefits like dental, vision, hearing, over‑the‑counter allowances, and fitness programs.
You usually use a network of providers (HMO, PPO, etc.), and plan costs and benefits can vary by county.
These plans are an alternative to Original Medicare, not an add‑on.
Medicare Prescription Drug Plans (Part D)
Part D plans help cover the cost of prescription medications.
Available as stand‑alone drug plans with Original Medicare or built into many Medicare Advantage plans.
Each plan has its own list of covered drugs (formulary), copays, and preferred pharmacies.
Choosing the right Part D plan can significantly reduce your monthly and yearly drug costs.
Medicare Supplement (Medigap) Plans
Medigap plans are sold by private insurers to help pay some of the costs Original Medicare doesn’t, like deductibles, copays, and coinsurance.
Used with Original Medicare, not with most Medicare Advantage plans.
Standardized plan types (such as Plan G, Plan N) with different levels of coverage.
You still use any provider that accepts Medicare, and these plans can help make your costs more predictable.
How I Can Help
You do not have to figure it out alone. As an independent local advisor we can:
Compare Original Medicare + Medigap + Part D vs. Medicare Advantage
Review your doctors and medications against available plans
Understand total costs (premiums + copays + max out‑of‑pocket)
Marketplace
Affordable plans tailored to your needs.
Bronze Plans
Lower monthly premiums, higher costs when you get care. Good if you want a low monthly payment and are okay paying more when you need services.
Silver Plans
Middle‑of‑the‑road premiums and costs.
Only Silver plans can qualify for extra savings (cost‑sharing reductions) if your income is eligible.
Gold Plans
Higher monthly premiums, lower costs when you get care. Good if you see doctors more often and prefer more predictable costs.
Platinum Plans
Highest monthly premiums, lowest costs when you get care. Best if you use a lot of medical services and want very low copays and deductibles.
Catastrophic Plans
Very low premiums with very high deductibles.
Available only to some people under 30 or those with a hardship exemption; mainly for protection in worst‑case scenarios.
You have several options for Marketplace plans, and the right one depends on your doctors, prescriptions, and budget.
I can help you compare Marketplace, employer, and other coverage options side by side, so you clearly see total costs—not just the monthly premium.
